Gentian

Gentian is one of twenty NY32's built in 1936 for NYYC who commissioned Olin Stevens to design them as a replacement for the Herreshoff designed NY30's. The 32's are designed with offshore racing in mind and represented the state of the art for offshore racers of their time. Gentian has raced in New England classic yacht events, mid-distance races and many other regattas since built.
